It's been a few years since we last chatted. I'd be happy to jump on a call to dive in deeper, but a quick version would be:
1) with each holochain application, the communication channel itself is commonly held. It is literally a commons run by the participants. @MatanField @DigitalEdward @artbrock @fer_ananda @marycamacho @dcaworld @helioscomm 2) because the applications are peer-to-per and agent centric (you could think of them as people centered applications), interoperability between apps comes free. Anything I can read out of one app, I can write into another. I (as a peer in both apps) am the bridge. Not some API.
